Chocorenderlimits (CRL for short) is a Doom and Heretic source port designed for vanilla map authors and modders. It provides real-time display of the original engine’s rendering and gameplay limits, includes in-game warnings for potential map issues and errors, offers additional testing modes for various scenarios, and incorporates numerous QoL improvements for more comfortable testing.
The in-game CRL Control Panel can be accessed by pressing the grave/tilde key ~, and many additional actions can also be bound to custom keys directly within the port.
CRL is maintained by Julia Nechaevskaya and Polina "Aura" N.
You can follow the official development thread on the Doom World forum.
This is the official continuation of the original Chocorenderlimits created by RestlessRodent.
You can also download regular Nightly Builds.

Note for XP users: Service Pack 3, Microsoft Visual C++ 2015–2019 Redistributable (x86) and an SSE2-compatible CPU are required.
Old versions of original Chocorenderlimits can be found on the Historical page.
