CRY is a non-conservative recreation of Jaguar Doom for PC, created on International Doom engine. For the accuracy of emulation, a lot of code was taken from Jaguar Doom source code, including: damage formulas, monsters behavior, Nightmare skill mode, sector and line specials.
My mission was not to make a carbon copy of Jaguar Doom for modern PCs. Instead, I was seeking for a balance between emulation accuracy, good looks and general enjoyment, as well as paying as much attention to details as I could.
